Under the motto and meanings of Sharjah Ramadan Festival bearing the lofty values and noble meaning connected with the Holy Month of Ramadan and the Eid Al-Fitter thereafter all cities in the emirate are witnessing shopping and promotion activities accompanied by many social, cultural, religious, sportive, medical, environmental and heritage activities in addition to entertainment activities and sales that attract all members of society for a period of 42 days.
The supreme Organizational Committee of the Festival, headed by H.E Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Al Qassimi, the chairman of the Amiri Court in Sharjah, was keen to approve an entire outstanding type of activities and accompanying events that reflects its feasibility and importance. It also reflects the meaning of the festival and its aims of serving economical activity and to facilitate shopping with modern and developed methods and wide participation from shops, markets and shopping centers
