Tamooh Program
Tamooh Program offers financial support to emerging national projects through granting the necessary financing to start such projects with the aim of encouraging the national youths ambitious to enter the business sector.
The Emirates Bank (an affiliate of UAE Dubai National Companies) has created Tamooh Program which is considered the first initiative of its type in the UAE in regard of a private financial institution support of such type of program as a guarantee from its part to provide investment opportunities to nationals in the UAE through facilitation of their getting the required capital for their small private projects.
The Tamooh Program has signed a cooperation agreement with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry at the beginning of year 2005 stating that the chamber in procedures facilitation process shall receive the applications submitted to the programs along with provision with the required information and instructions to complete their application forms.
Facilities:
Finance of new and existing projects with 2 million Dirhams as maximum.
Provide Islamic finance through Emirates Islamic Bank.
Exemption from banking interests for three years period.
Commence of loan payment from the beginning of second year.
Maximum 8 years loan.
Provision of directives and guidance to prepare feasibility studies and project’s necessary information.
Projects’ marketing through participation in exhibitions and conferences.
Obtain governmental and semi governmental institutions support through exemption or reduction of fees and priority given to Tamooh’s projects.
